PrimaYaya is my design studio and it's carried me through a diverse creative career. I am inspired by subjects and scenes around me. Currently, I live in a historic town in Georgia. I grew up on the Florida Gulf Coast, and I have also lived in Colorado, Louisiana, and Tennessee. All of these places have influenced my style. I work in a mixed medium of graphite pencil and acrylic paint on wood or canvas. I also create illustrations and digital drawings for various projects. I approach subjects as a portrait and as a storyteller, capturing a representation of a scene or subject with layers of color and texture.
